Effective branding and marketing has been signalled as a barrier to the growth of Sierra Leonean businesses at home and abroad, and the first step in creating an effective branding ecology from which Sierra Leonean businesses can benefit, is to create people who have the knowledge and the skills to build them.
Good branding will give your customers a reason to care about your brand, your business, and your products and will get them to see you as the sole provider of a solution to their problem or need. Branding and marketing are often used interchangeably but they are different. Branding drives reputation, marketing drives sales. Marketing unearths and activates buyers. Branding makes loyal customers, advocates, and even ambassadors out of those who buy. Branding makes for better marketing.
During this six (6) day intensive training and assessment programme, selected participants will be transformed into Branding Bosses that possess the professional skills and expertise in effective marketing and branding processes, and unemployed participants who make it through the end of the programme will be supported in finding employment.
